The White House reportedly failed to invite one prominent journalist of color to this year’s Christmas party, and it’s the first time she’s been excluded from the event in 20 years.

It’s April Ryan.

And as one of the few female minority journalists with credentials to the White House press pool, who has had a history of clashing repeatedly with ex-White House press secretary Sean Spicer and his successor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she believes the omission is no mistake.
