Good Medicine

Tears often release the pain of hurt and sorrow, but smiles and laughter are good medicine for the soul. Trusting God with a positive, loving attitude brings a cure to emotions of spiritual trauma. -Cornelius Duncan

“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22)

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7)

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
