With the country split, a new poll from Harvard CAPS/Harris finds that 60 percent of Americans believe that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh should be confirmed if the FBI finds no corroboration of the charges.

Also, 66% of Americans support Arizona Republican Senator Jeff Flake’s decision to insist upon a brief and limited FBI investigation before the final vote. That includes 80% of Democrats, 69% of Independents, but only 45% of Republicans.
