Magnitude 3.2 Earthquake Shakes Northwest Tennessee

MEMPHIS, Tenn (localmemphis.com) – Northwest Tennessee was rattled early Monday morning by an earthquake.According to the U.S. Geological Survey a 3.2 magnitude quake happened about 6:06 a.m. 2.1 miles east of Ridgely, about 16 miles north of Dyersburg.The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 4.12 miles (6.6 kilometers).A series of aftershocks were recorded from 6:28 a.m. – 6:40 a.m. 2.1 magnitude, 1.7 magnitude, 1.5 magnitude and 1.2 magnitude.
