2 tuberculosis cases reported at northwest Georgia elementary schools | WTVC

Officials say tuberculosis cases have been reported at two elementary schools in Georgia. The Floyd County School District tells news outlets that one case of TB was confirmed at Model Elementary, and another at Johnson Elementary. Both schools in Rome remain open and are being cleaned. District Superintendent Jeff Wilson says two letters will be sent to students’ families with details and action-plans, one to those who may have had contact with people infected and another to those at less risk.
