India Evacuates Millions as Tropical Cyclone Fani Nears Northeastern India Coast | The Weather Channel

More than 3 million people had been evacuated Thursday in northeast India as Tropical Cyclone Fani approaches the coast.The Odisha government confirmed Thursday that more than 3.3 million people had been evacuated and plan to evacuate more than 11 million in total before the storm hits sometime Friday local time, the Times of India reported. It is the largest evacuation ever to take place in the country.
