President Trump is wheels up from historic India visit
The President and First Lady Melania Trump are now en route back to Washington, D.C., after a productive and awe-inspiring trip to India this week.
The two-day schedule was packed with both working meetings and visits to cultural landmarks such as the Taj Mahal. Yesterday, President Trump received a roaring welcome from over 100,000 people at a rally hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Melania and I have been awed by the majesty of India and the exceptional kindness and generosity of the Indian people,” President Trump said. “We’ll always remember the magnificent welcome the citizens of your home state showed us upon arrival.”

‘Big Loss for Planned Parenthood’: Court Upholds Trump Admin’s ‘Protect Life’ Rules
A US appeals court has upheld Trump administration rules that prevent taxpayer money from being used for abortions.
The rules forbid clinics that receive federal funds through the Title X program from making abortion referrals and from sharing space with abortion providers. In other words, the Title X money is only supposed to used for health care needs, not to promote abortion.
In a 7-4 ruling, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed arguments that the rule forces doctors to violate medical morals by withholding information from patients, Court News reports.

NASA officials ‘baffled’ after space cameras catch UFO following ISS for over 20 minutes
The footage was posted by UFO enthusiast Scott Waring on his YouTube channel ET Data Base and has since gone viral across social media.
The 22-minute long footage shows the bus-sized UFO moving at the same speed as the ISS, which moves at 78km/second.
At the end of the live feed stream, the UFO shoots upwards and disappears, leaving behind a green burst of light.
During the NASA footage, the space agency workers are discussing maintenance on the space station.

US confirms 53 coronavirus cases, including evacuated cruise passengers

The US now has 53 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, including 19 new patients diagnosed over the weekend, health officials said Monday.
The stateside cases include 39 evacuees from the virus-hit Diamond Princess cruise ship and the Chinese city of Wuhan at the center of the outbreak, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Americans should prepare for coronavirus spread in U.S., CDC says
Top U.S. public health officials said Tuesday that Americans should prepare for the spread of the coronavirus in communities across the country.
“It’s not so much a question of if this will happen anymore, but rather more a question of exactly when this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illness,” Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the head of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said during a media briefing Tuesday.
Measures to contain the virus in the U.S. so far have involved restricting travel to and from China — the center of the outbreak — and isolating cases identified so far in this country.

Dow Drops More Than 1,000 as Virus Outbreak Threatens US Economy

The COVID-19 virus is affecting the US economy. US stocks fell sharply Monday, following a sell-off in overseas markets, as a surge in virus cases and a worrisome spread of the disease outside China sent investors running for safety.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank more than 1,000 points as the spread of the new coronavirus threatened wider damage to the global economy. The drop was the worst for the index in two years and wiped out its gains so far in 2020.
Nervous investors scrambled for safety, loading up on gold, US government bonds, and other safe-harbor assets. The price of oil fell sharply on expectations that demand for energy would tumble. The Dow lost 1,031 points, or 3.6%, to 27,960. The S&P 500 fell 111, or 3.4%, to 3,225. The Nasdaq fell 355, or 3.7%, to 9,221.
