Trump campaign sees narrow victory but lawsuits coming, too

Counting ballots after Election DayAn army of attorneys appears to be the post-election plan for the Trump campaign, which is witnessing Joe Biden inch closer to a narrow Electoral College victory thanks to overnight vote totals.

Americans who eventually went to bed Election Night woke up Wednesday morning to The Rustbelt Surprise: The key states of Wisconsin and Michigan had flipped to reflect Joe Biden leading President Trump while Trump was maintaining a more distant lead in Pennsylvania.

Biden on Wednesday was leading Trump in Wisconsin by a percentage point, or approximately 25,500 votes, until The Associated Press declared him the winner about 1:30 CST.
