Newt Gingrich, the former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, is urging Americans to stay involved in the presidential race despite the fact that major news outlets have called the election for Joe Biden over President Trump.

“Don’t be fooled: This is not over,” says Gingrich in a commentary posted Sunday at FoxNews.com.

“The media don’t decide elections. Votes are still being counted. According to the Associated Press, four states (Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin) are within 1 percent. No recounts have started, and challenges (which will ultimately play out) are being ignored. This has been astounding to watch.”

The legendary Republican says he and his wife Callista were at the White House on Election Night as returns were coming in.
