Stimulus package negotiations: The House is back and lame duck is in full flight. What now?

This week, both the Senate and House of Representatives are back in Washington, and each political party says it wants to pass another stimulus relief bill before the Jan. 20 inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. But the same issues that kept Democratic and Republican lawmakers from reaching a deal initially remain, namely the size of the package, and whether or not it includes a second round of stimulus checks for eligible Americans.
