After threatening to veto coronavirus and omnibus spending packages, President Donald Trump has taken off for Palm Beach, Florida, Wednesday to spend the holidays at Mar-a-Lago, Fox News reported.

Trump is expected to spend 10 days at his winter White House through the New Year, according to WPTV-5 West Palm Beach.

Trump’s trip comes as he’s holding off on signing or vetoing the bipartisan spending deals, telling Congress to amend the stimulus with an upgrade from $600 per individual checks to $2,000 ($4,000 for couples).

That insistent call is sure to face resistance from fiscal conservatives in Congress.
